Welder -  Oswego county, NY area

Candidate will be welding with mostly flux-cored wire and GMAW. 
•    You will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. 
•    In this role you will also lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly (using straight edges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers).
•    Must be able to read and interpret blue prints.
•    Responsibilities also include examining work pieces for defects and monitoring the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
•    
Pay is $25+ per hour DOE.  Strong benefits package.  Direct placement opportunity.
 
•    3+ Years GMAW / FCAW experience
•    Work from shop drawings to prepare, weld and assemble
•    A strong work ethic and ability to work independently
•    Ability to pass a drug test and a criminal background check
•    Welder Certifications a plus
•    Proficiency with shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding a plus
