Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanic with an active CDL A License
• Diagnose and repair trailers and heavy / light truck equipment and complete installation of truck equipment including without limitation: snowplows, liftgates, hoists, van and dump bodies
• Perform preventive maintenance on trailer and truck equipment including routine technical repairs and make recommendations for future repairs
• Document work order details within our client's internal order and billing program
• Abide by all policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• Driving consists of picking up and delivering of customer vehicles and transporting trailers between client locations
Pay is $20+ per hour DOE - will pay more for a well-qualified candidate. Solid benefits package. Direct placement opportunity.
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Active CDL A with clean driving record
• Must provide own tools
• Demonstrate diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs
• The ability to demonstrate successful welding skills in non-standard situations and on varying materials is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with other employees and management
